How we work

Our newsroom pairs AI research and drafting tools with human editors. Software monitors public sources — city press releases, county announcements, National Weather Service alerts, council agendas — around the clock, assembles research from primary sources, and drafts stories. Every story is independently fact-checked and must pass database-enforced source, safety, visual, and publication-readiness controls. Eligible low-risk stories may be published automatically within a daily cap; sensitive, blocked, or uncertain reporting requires a human editor.
